Trust

Security and compliance, written into the workflow.

A pension fund answers to its members, its trustees, its auditors and its regulator. Pensus is built so the answers already exist: who did what, who approved it, and what each member was told.

Careful hands, from the first contribution to the last payment.

Built-in workflows at every step

Pensus guides your team through each task with a built-in workflow, so the fund runs smoothly and mistakes are stopped before they happen instead of being reversed afterwards. Files are checked before they post, distributions are previewed before they run, and each step waits for the right person's approval before the next one begins.

  • Guided steps for every routine task
  • Checked and previewed before anything posts
  • Fewer corrections and reversals

Sign-in that holds

Sign-in runs through an OpenID Connect identity server. Users can enrol an authenticator app for two-factor authentication, and password length, character rules and lockout after failed attempts are set per role.

  • OpenID Connect
  • Authenticator-app two-factor authentication
  • Password and lockout rules per role

Members guard their own accounts

Members set up two-factor sign-in themselves, keep recovery codes, set security questions and choose which emails they receive. A request that moves their money, such as a loan application, asks for their password again.

  • Two-factor set-up by the member
  • Recovery codes and security questions
  • Password asked again before money moves

Two checks on every request

A valid sign-in is not enough. Every call is checked again against the permissions of the user's role, so each person sees and does only what their role allows.

  • Role-based permissions on every call
  • Menus built from the same permissions
  • Single and multi-employer roles

Maker and checker

Transactions, member profile changes, loans and plan switches wait for approval. Bulk runs can only be reversed whole, in order, and never once a member in them has been paid.

  • Approval queue with comments
  • Password confirmation on money-moving requests
  • Safe reversal of bulk runs

An audit trail you can hand over

Changes to member records are logged, sign-ins are recorded, and every transaction and run carries who created it and who approved it. Action Centre findings keep their history from open to resolved.

  • Member audit log
  • Sign-in audit
  • Created, approved and posted by, on every record

IORP II

The information members are owed

IORP II expects occupational pension funds to keep members informed, govern carefully and manage risk. Pensus gives you the tools for the parts that run through daily administration.

Pension benefit statements
Generated from the ledger for every member, with your fund's disclaimer.
Leavers and transfers
The statutory waiting period is enforced at settlement, and IORP transfers in and out are their own transaction type.
Risk, found early
The Action Centre turns missed contributions, arrears and stale valuations into tracked findings.
Governance on record
Approvals, comments and audit logs show how each decision was taken.

Bring your due-diligence questions.

We will go through security, data and controls with your trustees or your IT team.
